FAQs
1. What will the cleaners wear to protect themselves and us from covid?
All of our cleaning staff will arrive to your home with a disposable apron, gloves and mask unless you tell us otherwise, these will be disposed of after each clean.
2. Do I have any contractual Obligations?
No we would rather earn your loyalty based on results.
3. Can I have the same cleaner?
Yes we will always endeavour to provide you the same cleaner however there are instances that this will not be possible due to sickness or holidays so we will advise you that there will be a change in cleaner.
4. What will you do in my house?
All information is found within our website and you can tailor your package to suit your needs using our additional add on service.
5. Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
We will provide all cleaning products and materials, however we will require the use of your hoover and floor mop we will NOT be using our own at this time to reduce any risks of Covid contamination. We feel at this time it is not a good idea to use the same hoover from home to home.
6. Do I have to do anything before my house is cleaned?
No this is where our service is unique we are a clean and tidy service. We provide our own cleaning products but we will require the use of your hoover as we will not be using the same hoover to clean from home to home to reduce the risk of contamination.
7. How do I pay?
You can pay via our website through a secure Paypal Link.
8. Can I pay cash ?
No you must pay prior to your cleaning arriving through our website. Should you cancel within 24hrs you will simply be given a refund to the account from which you paid.
9. What if my regular clean falls on a bank holiday?
We will reschedule your clean to a date and time to suit you.
10. What if I need to make changes or cancellations?
We ask for a minimum of 2 days notice or you may incur a 50% charge for your clean.
11. How do you vet your cleaners?
We conduct thorough interviews as well as full documentation checks. New cleaners are not sent out to properties on their own to begin with as they are sent with a supervising cleaner who ensures that they are aware and are capable of meeting our high standards.
12 Can I change my cleaner if I am not happy?
Of course, we pride ourselves on our excellent service.
13. Do you have insurance/ liability cover?
Yes our full insurance details can be found on our website.
14. Do I have to be home for my cleaner?
No a key acknowledgment form will be filled in which gives your cleaner permission to let themselves in and out of your home via your instructions.
15. Can I just book add-ons?
No you must book a package in order to book from our add on service.
16. Can I book the same cleaner again?
Please let us know by putting this in the notes section when you book your cleaner, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
17 Can I cancel or change my booking?
Please give us at least 24 hours notice – then give us a call and we can cancel or change your appointment.
18 Do you provide cleaning products, hoover and floor mop?
Please note that we provide all cleaning products, however you must provide your own hoover and floor mop for us to use. If you would like your own floor products to be used please provide this to the cleaning maid as we will NOT be responsible for any floor damage. If you require the use of one of our hoovers this may be available at request.

Houses that are up to 5 miles from DE22 have no mileage charge.
For houses that are 5-7 miles from DE22 - a small charge for properties will apply - please select this when booking your cleaner.
If you house is further than 7 miles from DE22 please contact Royal Maids directly to find out if we can provide you a cleaning service and what your additional mileage charge will be.
